I've been to Woodland Pet a few times for grooming. I have a full size doodle and a cockapoo mix. They've always done a good job and my dogs are happy to go in there
The grooming was wonderful and my dog came out cuter than ever. I would highly recommend you take a look and consider support a local family business. I'm glad I stopped in and will be back.
Visited this store today because my husband and I were visiting his mother when we realized we needed wet dog food. We usually get our wet/dry food from Pet Valu because they actually carry the brands we use for our corgi. But since we were in the area we figured we'd give this place a shot. A man greeted us when we walked in and asked us if we needed help, I replied with a no thank you because we had already found the Merrick wet food. We start browsing the cans only to realize the man never left the end of the aisle! I shot over a quick glance at him to see what was up and he just stood there watching us. We both proceeded to get even more and more uncomfortable until this guy takes a step or two over to an end cap and starts fiddling with products. Suuuuuper awkward. I mean, were heavily covered in tattoos so does that make you think we're going to steal some high end wet food for our pup? Please. I have a bum shoulder and a flipping tote bag. What was going to happen here?? We would have happily supported this small business but unfortunatly we felt so uncomfortable we left within 3 minutes.
Brought my doodle in for grooming and met the owner who gave me a tour of the place. The store is bright, clean and well laid out. All of the products they carry are high quality, healthy and reputable brands. Prices are very good and competitive to big box pet stores but you also find many great things that the larger stores do not carry.
