In addition, I know for a fact that they were working with that Franklin lakes Con man that was recently arrested by the FBI due to the fact that I saw them together.
Only hire Sotheby's if you do not want to sell your house.
Held my listing in Franklin Lakes for a year and never even showed it. At the same time, many houses in my neighborhood were selling with different realtors. After being contacted by several prospective buyers, Sotheby's neither informed me of the buyers nor showed them the house. I know this to be true due to the fact that I had a friend contact them as a potential buyer and they declined to show the house. At this point, there are three months left in our contract. I have requested to terminate my contract and list the house with another real estate firm. However, they have declined and are now holding my contract hostage. I have consulted other realtors who advised me that in situations with dissatisfied clients, they allow the contract to terminate early. However, Sotheby's does not seem to be interested in my satisfaction, even after offering me a satisfaction guarantee with the contract. It would be ideal to hire a more caring and true real estate firm. At he current time I am unable due to the ball and chain of the contract with Sotheby's. The whole situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
In my humble opinion Sotheby's wants to does business by holding contracts for listings in order to get a percentage when other realtors sell your house. They are misrepresenting and misleading clients. They are not interested in their clients nor their listings one least bit. I would reccommend Sotheby's if you want an awful experience.
